Summer 2012

The Dispatch & The Rock Island Argus, Moline, Illinois has a tenative opening for a hard working and energetic photojournalist to fill their 2012 summer photography internship.

 

The new intern will join our five person staff and shoot a full-slate of assignments. The internship offers the opportunity for young photographers to build their portfolios shooting spot news, features, pro-baseball, PGA golf, high school sports, enviormental portraits and multimedia projects. With a strong commitment to the web and community journalism all our interns are are given the opportunity to do multimedia presentations. Interns are required to have their own car and proof of insurance. Undergraduates and recent graduates will be considered. Nikon digital equipment will be provided. $320-per week plus over-time.
